Binocular Harness System: The One Piece Of Equipment You Don’t Want To Go Without

by brin on May 20, 2010

So I’m out in the woods in a new place I’ve never been before. I’m completely in my element in that I am outdoors exploring the great unknown. The weather is perfect and it’s shaping up to be one of the best days of my life as I have seen some great wildlife along the way. I’m about twenty minutes into my great outdoor adventure when I realize I am missing the one piece of equipment I don’t want to be without. I left my binocular harness system at home.

I started getting cold sweats and then … I woke up. Life is good again. It probably sounds ridiculous that I would get so worked up about a little piece of outdoors equipment, but it really does mean the difference between a good and bad day to have a binocular harness system. The binocular harness system helps me to last for hours longer than I otherwise would because it prevents me from getting that neck pain I used to get with my old binocular strap.

Not only does the binocular harness system prevent neck pain, but it also protects my really nice optics. I rely on my optics to help me see the wildlife I’m out to find. If my binos get damaged in any way, it throws off my fun until I get another one. The types of binos I’m into are not cheap. That’s why sometimes I have nightmares about forgetting to bring my binocular harness system.  Check out this video that talks about my favorite piece of equipment that I don’t want to be without.
