Binocular Carrying System Schools of Thought

by admin on July 24, 2010

There are several schools of thought for carrying binoculars. They are often divided by the types of individuals that have need for carrying binoculars.

One set of individuals who may need to carry their binoculars are people who love to watch birds. They are known as ‘birders’. Another would be people who like to shoot birds – or any other type of animal out there. They are called ‘hunters’. Lastly, there are people who like to spy on other people unsuspectingly. They are called ‘spies’ . . . or sometimes, ‘perverts’.

Either way, they all have need for carrying around binoculars which means they need a good binocular carrying system.  While there are several schools of thought for carrying binoculars, there are also a lot of similarities between each set of binocular toting peeps.

The similarities have to do with the basic desires of feeling comfortable, protecting their binoculars, having them easily and readily accessible, and of course, the binocular carrying systems being inexpensive and durable.

What makes each of the schools of thought different is simply he desires of how they will end up using their binoculars. Whether someone is hiding in a tree, crouching under a bridge or peering across a field, it is always a good idea to have a binocular carrying system that holds the binoculars close to the chest for easy access. It can also perform this function by simply not putting any weight on the neck.

The way a binocular carrying system can do that is to put the straps over the shoulders, under the arms and across the back. This takes all the weight off the neck and therefore makes a binocular carrying system to beat all binocular carrying systems. Be sure to look for these qualities when searching for next binocular harness set.
